I write, blog, run, tri-train, knit, and search far and wide for the best food and wine in Syracuse and Central New York.
I credit my grandfather who used to cook for the Vanderbilt family at Biltmore with my love of cooking. I'm an Episcopal priest who is driven by the metaphor of the table for spiritual and temporal sustenance. After living in the Bay area for several years, I've moved to Syracuse where I hope to raise awareness of the wonderful food to be had in this beautiful place and the importance of local, organic, and seasonal foods. I want to change the world one bite at a time.
I'm also Rector (head pastor) of Grace Episcopal Church and Episcopal chaplain at Syracuse University. My blog, grace in the 'cuse, chronicles my life in these fantastic communities.
