Scenes from the Ithaca Famers' Market

The market was really buzzing today--full of people and produce. There were lots of garlic, squash, chard, beets, and basil. But the standout for me were the never-ending blueberries at Glenhaven Farm Winery (the only U-Pick and winery in the Finger Lakes) and the chicks for sale at Kingbird Farm. The chicks are about five-week old laying hens. I picked up a whole lota berries but left the chicks at the market.
