This is how food bloggers flatter one another. Ivonne over at Cream Puffs in Venice made this tart a couple of weeks ago and inspired Stephanie over at Couteau Bonswan to make it. Stefanie used peaches and blueberries with a bit of ginger. I did it with local peaches and blueberries and added chopped cyrstallized ginger. Topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you have the makings of an addiction. Check out Cream Puffs in Venice for the recipe--and thanks for the inspiration! P.S. Seriously, it's gorgeous! And I'm so glad to read that you found it easy and worth it. Sometimes pastry can be fussy but this one is so rewarding.
