I must have been crazy to think that I would make it through last week with a complete photo file of everything I consumed. Yet, when Sam posed the challenge, I eagerly signed on. Boy was this hard! First, there is the mental thing to get around of noticing everything that goes in my mouth--then there's that remembering to have the camera ready to snap the picture. One thing I noticed--and I do think this is typical--there is a lot less variety in my breakfast and lunch meals than I had thought. And then with Thanksgiving--we'll then even the dinner became the same!
Actually, I was doing okay with all the photos till Thanksgiving. And then I had a funeral to do on Saturday and couldn't bring myself to pull out a camera at the reception for the family. Then Sunday--we'll that's a work day and I didn't take one photo--though I wished I had my camera for the impromptu trip to Kingston, Ontario to check out Chez Piggy. Ah well, next time!

You did great. I agree that it was totally hard - I turned into a slave to my camera, and found that I had a really random food week.

I think you did a great job, and the circumstances were totally understandable. Even I couldn't pull out a camera at a funeral (even though in my family food features prominently even at funerals.)
I also just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss.

Jen--you know, I've been slow to pick up my camera since then...like camera fatigue, but I'm getting over it.
Amy--thanks for stopping by. The funeral I had was a loss for our community and I was the one who presided at the service and buried her--thanks so much for your kind words.
Jill--thanks for introducing me the Passionate Cook blog--what great pictures!
