I do canning and freezing and am very attentive to food safety.
This sounds like a pickle recipe but not a preserving technique.
Or is microwaving the pickles and then refridgeration the equivalent of processing (packing in sterilized jars with sealable lids, boiling jars covered by water, etc.)
If not a recipe for over-the-winter preserving, plan to eat the pickles within what timeframe?

The pickles last in the fridge about 2 weeks.

I’ve been wanting to make some bread and butter pickles and I think I’ll try your recipe. I’m sure they won’t last long, once my friends and I get started eating them.
